You’re an employee who wants to provide feedback letter to the boss, but you aren’t sure where to begin. Here’s a great template to make it easier for you.
Dear Boss,
Thank you for your good continuous performance and excellent leadership skills that you are portraying a day in and day out. Let me begin by saying how much I appreciate the opportunity to work in {Company}. Your drive is what keeps us going – and your dedication to this team and this company.
Far be it from me to tell you how to do your job, but I know you always appreciated good ideas and changing things for the better. Allow me to share them with you – maybe some will strike a chord and the working atmosphere better and more productive for everyone’s sake.
I’m not sure that you are aware of it, but sometimes it is difficult to know what we are working towards. Giving that additional piece of information might help us keep our focus where it needs to be and fight towards accomplishing the same goals. When everyone is on the same page, it makes it easier to work together. Finally, I think it would be helpful if we had more constructive feedback. It can be difficult to know how we are doing and if we need to improve if we don’t receive exactly what is lacking in our performance.
Thank you for your time, and I hope that these suggestions will help improve the working environment. Also, thank you for always being there for your team and valuing the people that work for you. Together we can move mountains and the company’s bottom line!
Sincerely,
